Kenwood KDC-225MR quit working after storage
Stereo worked fine before storage.
It is the Kenwood KDC-225MR that came with my '05 outback.
There is constant voltage to the back of the unit and the switchable voltage is there when switched on.
Anyone else have this happen to them.
Also does anybody have any suggestions?
Thanks
Chris

I had an old Kenwood MR head unit in my O/B. It had to be reset about 3 times a day toward the end before I replaced it. Moral: This problem may worsen.
My Mom said I'm not allowed to get wet!

Reset button did nothing
I never had any issues at all until now....
Any other thoughts?
Does anyone remove the actual unit for the winter storage?
I guess I may be in the market for a new stereo, any suggestions?
Thanks guys!

in my experience, everything electronic on a boat will break. it's just a matter of how soon.
Keep it has dry as you can...I've had to replace my deck 3 times now after 5 years but once by choice.
