Ian and I have been talking about tinting the windshield on our '08 DD Outback.

Today we were scoping out a boat that had pretty dark tint on it that was near us at the local sandbar, and we were commenting on how cool it looked.

Now, seeing it done to another Outback, I want it even more.

    I like the look.

How is it looking through the tinted shield, or are you like me and always sitting on the bolster and over the windshield?

its alot easier to tint it with it off especially when trying to tint the drivers windshield it makes it very difficult to trying to put a squegee down there when applying i will admit i was a little nervous about taking it off but it was fairly easy did it all by my self took me less than an hour....a car windhield shield has alot of room and makes it very easy to apply

My dealer tried once to tint without taking them off since he could do it that way on his Nautiques. No go on mine. Glass has to come off.

I sit on the bolster when driving unless really cold out so I'm getting 20%
