    Default Awsome trailering product

Just got this and towed my XLV for the first time with it and I have to say I am very impressed. It eliminated easily 75% or more of the jerk or bump you feel when starting from a stop.

I image you might have a super slight delay. But one reason these boats do bump is when you get off the brakes and pull the hitch away from the master cylinder. My big boat is bad about this and I am willing to try one of these things. As soon as I find my Birthday Ducati I will order one!

A few guys on Wakeworld have it and report no ill effects on the brakes. Also, reported that it helps with smoothing out the ride on some of the rougher lake/park roads around the ramps. They noted that the vehicle rides smoother and less visible jarring to the boat by referencing how much the tower shakes. I just towed my boat to my house to clean it so I'll know about smoothing out the rough road tomorrow.

Nice find!!! I've been hoping for a fix for the"bump". I'd be interested in more feedback from other users of this product.

    Thanks

    Default great

I have been using one of these for a while with my boat. I also use it when I haul my utility trailer. My father also uses one pulling his 26ft center console. It does make a big difference.

For years I have been wrapping the ball mount with electrical tape before I slide it into the receiver. It gets rid of a lot of the wiggle and vibration and a little bit of the "bump" you feel. Sometimes I have to tap it a few times with a rubber mallet to get it in the last inch or two.
