Default Wakeboarding Rope & Handle Combo

I'm looking to get a new wakeboard rope and handle. The rope and handle I have now isnt really even specifically made for wakeboarding. Any good suggestions? Anything to stay away from?

I love the Ronix Totem handle. Getting a good no stretch rope is critical though. No real brand preference for me. I like the coated ones and they all seem to work about the same.

Tons of options out there. I picked up a cheap Gator mainline and handle on E Bay for like $65 or something. It works great and is one of the cheapest, legit options I've found.
Sold my Moomba. Currently boat whoring.

my preference is to stay away from lines/handles that do not float.

Best handle I have found is Helium. I have 2 of them and won't use anything else. I had one last 4 seasons before it broke and I got it replaced for free. Try that with any other brand.
stearns has a couple of helium handles on sale right now for $25 too. I got this handle

and 2 vest from them recently. Too cheap to pass up.

As for ropes, there's a lot of good ones. I just snagged a Gator 80ft mainline from red tag sports for $40. I haven't used it yet, but will this weekend. For me, a rope is a rope. I just make sure I get a quality non stretch rope, at the right length I need, and I make sure that the color will be easily visible on the water. I pulled someone with a black rope once and I couldn't see it to save my life and I kept jerking them around.

Accurate A-line is tops as far as ropes goes.

I know this post is old but didn't see the point in starting a new one with almost the same question.

    I currently use this rope:

Airhead 4-Section Wakeboard Rope with PhatGrip Trick Handle - Yellow/ Black (70’)
    http://www.target.com/Airhead-4-Sect...archPage=1&rh=

The rope was suggested to me in a forum to be a good beginner rope. Well the handle on it is ripping to shit. Not sure what is causing that. But I want to get a better rope and handle. With the handle I want one that isn't foam covered like my current one because that is what is ripping off. Now with the rope. Do they make the ropes that are coated or that are like a 1/4" in diameter that are sectioned or do I need to stay away from a sectioned rope?

Ronix Totem is leather wrapped and awesome. Accurate (and others) make coated rope with sections which are great for easy and consistent adjustments.

I agree. I have a Ronix Seneca Carbon Handle and love it. The Accurate A line is awesome. But all of the coated no stretch lines seem to be about the same. A decent rope and handle cost money but they last a long time and are worth it. The higher end ropes come in sections so you can adjust it to the sweet spot in the wake.

I picked up this rope in a forum. Got it for 65 dollars shipped to my door. I thought it was a pretty good deal since the rope goes for 150 on Sterns.
