    Default Kenwood Stereo/Aeware remote

We have a new 2004 Mobius XLV with the Kenwood CD/MP3 stereo and 2 remotes (dash and stern). After cruising through some rough water, both the remotes quit working. Is there a wire common to both that may have come disconnected? If so, where and how do I go about fixing this??

If you look at the back of the radio there should be a single wire connecter at the top left (as you look at the front of the radio) corner of the radio. This is the wired-remote connector; make sure it is connected and tight.

Somebody else had posted they had a problem with it coming unconnected there.

Thank you for your response!! I have read all of the other threads regarding this topic, but I thought this was unique since two remotes were involved.
I will check the back of the stereo as you had suggested.

I could not believe how easy it was to get to the back of the stereo. Anyway, it was a disconnected wire and it was simple to figure out where it went. I made sure it was good and tight.
    Thanks for the help!!!
