Swim Platform pad
We have a 2002 Outback LS.....the first two years when you were on the swim platform you would be left with black streaks/marks on your skin, life vest, towels etc. Our dealer got the manufactuer to replace the pad this past off season.. We are experiencing the same problem with the new pad. I was wondering if anyone else is having/had this problem? Thanks

The platform pad on my 2000 Boomerang has a grey "shark skin" appearance. No problems with streaks or marks at all. Possibly a retrofit is in order?

I have a 2002 as well and had the same problem with mine. I took it back for something and they replaced it with a different kind. It is pretty slick when wet as it has no ridges in it, but I don't have black feet anymore. It is, however peeling up on the edges from so many people climbing in and out. I have considered using rhino liner on it so I won't have any issues with any more, but I haven't decided yet.

I have a 2004 Outback and I do not experience those problems but I have worried about the peeling aspect and Rhino Liner sounds like an excellent idea.
Thanks

Gator Grip is the way I would go. These links will show you what it would look like.
