Outback wait
I know this is probably impossible to find out but I thought I would ask anyways. Im pretty excited about finnaly getting a boat.
Tomorrow my dealer is going to order my 2004 outback. How long do these boats normally take to make? I was told by the end of the month by my dealer, but I am real sceptical. I just got to test drive a outback today, so now I am really exicted about getting my own. These boats kick butt!
Think I will be able to get it in the next 4-5 weeks?
by the way, its a red outback scheduled for austin, tx.
please help!

I ordered my boat back in mid April and was supposed to have it by the 4th of July. Now they are SUPPOSED to start building it July 22nd and be done July 30th. Hope you have better luck than me.

man, that doesnt make me feel good
I wish they would atleast give me a spray date so I would know around what time I would get it. You would think they could get the schedule down a little better than what they are. They should know about how many outbacks have been ordered and how many they can make in a day.
Trying to hold it together. The weekends have been very nice, and I wish I had something to go out on the water with.
who can I bribe to get my boat faster :P

We just got our boat ten days ago, was long wait but worth it......here is what i did (the dealer was not giving me the details i was hoping for) email factory direct, not the help line, but if you can get in touch with matt brown or rick tinker, give them your name, model, dealer that it is going through they will tell you spray dates.....matt even sent me some pics from the floor......from then it is about six days manufacturing, then however far away you are will tell how long it takes to get to you.....hope this helps
