    Default Martha's OBV Surf Wake

I mentioned after the prop test weekend that I was very impressed with the surf wake on the new OBV. It stood up to anything we saw all weekend from the LSV or the XLV. Here's some video I shot of EdG-- forgive him, he's using my Broadcast not his own board in the video. But, it shows a very nice surf wake. Sorry, I don't remember exactly which prop we were running on that Fri. (I hope this works)

that's a nice surf wake. now will someone teach the old guy to either stand on the board right, or surf the other side??

Very nice surf wake! How much ballast and where? What speed?

LOL, front stiff leg says it all! Not you're best side.

Had an extra 440 or so with the two of us in there. The wave had a nice curl to it though.

    A Tsunami for sure.
Unfortunately we are a mixed-foot family, so over-weighting the OBV on the one side is not feasible.

Might I make two recommendations to enhance your surfing experience; one in earnest, one in jest:

    1. Get rid of that t-handle that can be seen in the video clanging on Ed's knees and jewels. It's always fun until someone loses an eye. Replace it with a knoted, gripped, surf rope.

    2. Is that country music that can be heard in the background? OMG!!

And a suggestion to remedy the side-weighting issue:
Create a separate forum category containing information for reforming the goofy's so that we can all weight our boats for the proper surf side!
