    Default Tires?

alright guys i have a 2008 outbackv v on a single axle boat mate trailer and just pulled her out of the garage getting ready for summer and noticed some small cracks in the side walls of the tire idk how on safe that is but am gonna replace them regardless just because the thought of having a blow out already bugs me on a single axle especially since i usually tow about 45 miles to my private lake and ocassional trips 1000 plus miles to powell..........
does anyone recomend any brand of tire that are pretty good?

I put Maxxis load range E on ours last year. They seem to be holding up well.

Everyone should use some sort of tire protector to avoid dry rot, especially during the off season! I think I used black magic over this past winter and the tires were still shiny when I pulled the boat out this spring! Just my .02

Well, that deserves a caveat. Not all the tire products are good for the tires. Some of the "shiny" stuff will actually dry out the tires and assist the dry rot. Be careful what you use.
