    Default Fresh Water Strainer location

I purchased from skidim.com a freshwater strainer that I am going to install on my 2007 LS. Has anyone installed one on an LS? I'm training to decide where the best location for it would be. Underneath the engine or more up closer to where the line goes into the impeller. Any suggestions? Also, how flexible is that freshwater intake hose? It seems pretty stiff and I wonder about being able to bend a short piece if I needed to.

    Thanks,

    Garn

In the back of the engine? Just looking at the picture of your engine, my engine is set up differently. What size engine is that? 325 horsepower or the smaller/older engine?

    Thank you for your help.

send a note to zegm as he ordered one as an option on his boat. if I remember correctly, it is in front of the engine, towards the bow.
