bslide, just did the same on my 05 XLV. I surf a lot, which prop does everyone suggest?
Does autozone rent a puller that will work on our 4 blade props or just 3 blade?

should I be concerned?
If i was able to remove my prop using my hands only should I be concerned. It was NOT easy but now I am wondering if it should be more difficult. I spent the most time "breaking" the nut for the prop.

I went ahead and ordered that puller for my prop. I hit a damn rock on Sunday.
I paid $26 with shipping for it.
I was surprised when I went to loosen the prop nut and it was already a bit loose. I guess I need to start checking it every now and then to make sure it stays tight.
I was going to use a rubber hammer and a block of wood to try and knock the prop loose, but I figured I just better order the tool to be safe.'99 Outback (Maroon/Creme) GM 350/Holley 4150
