Default What bumpers to use for rafting?

this is my first wakeboat and I havnt even got the chance to put it in the water after I bought it last year. I tie up to some 30ft bajas and it seems like the rear sides on my 07 mobius are gonna sit way lower than their boats. Ive got some 6.5x22 polyform bumpers but attaching the bumpers to the rear cleat looks like its gonna be a pain to keep it in between the boats. What bumpers do you guys use when tied up to other non wake boats?

Can't really answer that particular question as i don't tie up to any non-wake boats as that's all my friends and family have. In fact i try not to tie up to any other boats at all but when i do I use Polyforms as well, but their 5.5" i believe with poly covers on them. Some people have used Hull-Hugger flat fenders that drape over the hull with success i think. But keep in mind that a lower hull next to a larger boat will always have the risk of rolling into it when rollers hit and i'm not sure even those will help.

yeah i saw those flat hanging fenders. they would protect great from the top to bottom but at only 2.5 inches thick a light breeze would crush those flat between 2 boats.

Hoppers are great to tie up to other boats.

I may get laughed off the lake if I pull those out but I guess it's better than pissing everyone off when my low rubrail beats on their $90k baja's!

Alway a good conversation piece too... Check out the balls on my boat!
Try it with a beer in your hand and a straight face! Always a crowd pleaser.
Now that's funny, I don't care who you are
