These are not mine. Thought they were a good deal plus I bought one from him.

Very simple, two clamps on the top atached to the tower like any speaker can. Liquid Trends boxes and that style are very popular on the west coast. They also happen to be about 5 miles from my house. Mine ...

A 4-speaker box weighs 10-11 lbs., the 6 weigh about 13 lbs. Add four 6x9 speakers for about another 20 and your looking at around 33 lbs.

By comparison a Wetsounds 485 weighs 33.5 lbs and a Pro80 weighs 13.5 lbs. The guys that run a single 485 with 2 pro80's have 60 lbs up there.

It weighs slightly more at around 5 lbs. than four Exile XM7's on the flip side.

Nice info, Razz. I like how these look but wouldn't even know where to start with this kind of upgrade. My daughter wants me to add a subwoofer so that's probably going to come first.

Kane these type of upgrades are aren't hard, they just look it. With all the talent we have around here it easy!

Here's the box on install, notice the wire coming out the top to pull the tower wires through.

I meant I wouldn't know whether to start with interior speakers or adding more to the tower or what.

I put the tower on my old boat (OB) and ordered cans and speakers and installed them, upgraded the deck, added amps and added a subwoofer. I can certainly do it -- I just don't know what would come first on this boat. I haven't even looked at the amps yet to see what runs what.

I dont need to get my money back, I personally like them and if you dont then o'well. Thanks for the info Razzman and I like your box, it looks good the same color as the boat.

I went with curved box that holds 6 6.5's It weights 11 pounds empty. The 4 6x9 box is 10 pounds and the 6 6x9 box is 13 pounds. As Razzman stated they are held on the tower with 2 standard tube clamps. Its a very simple upgrade. Heres a pic of the curved 6 box. If you want to go the the liquid trends site and see some pic heres the addy.

They look good and compliment the boat if done right. With the proper speakers and amp they are loud as well and can be heard no problem 80' back ... BUT you will definately need tower control as this will fill the boat with sound and be very loud when projecting back.
