    Default All The Bad Luck

Man ,am I Ticked.........finally got up to my cottage and one of the cables on my boat lift let loose and the boat dropped and slid off the left rear bunk. The whole left rear corner is smashed in against the crib of my dock and wedge tight against it. I called my closest dealer not sure how they are going to get it to the boat ramp to load it on a trailer ,maybe a barge , luckily it is only sitting in 2.5 feet of water so the motor should be fine. will post some pics later.......sad

Who put your lift in? Did the cable break or did it come apart at a clamp? Unless there was severe corrosion I would be looking at who designed and installed the lift for an explanation!
Sorry to hear about this, you might have to get block and tackle, and lift it up yourself!

Really sucks. If possible , my buddy never touched his lift. Has a company put it in and maintain it. They also accept liabilty other than natural disaster. Good luck.

Oh man, I am so sorry to hear this. How bad is the boat? Is this a fix or a replace situation? Please keep us posted.
