hard start & idle rpm
iI have an '04 Outback. I have approx. 10 hrs on it to date. I have been having some problems with not just the cold start but also after it has been running for some time. I notice that my idle rpm is around 400. That seems a little low? I usually have to throttle it a few times and then turn the key. Even then it doesn't always stay running when I engage it. Could the idle have anything to do with this. My thought is that it is not getting enough gas initially. Any help would be great!

My LSV was similar. Idling too low. Had the carb adjusted and all is good.

Thanks for all the info. It sounds like my suspicions were correct. Thanks again!
