Fair Market price
I think I have this topic in the right section
I am trying to sell a 2004 Moomba Mobius LS for $23,900. I have gotten alot of inquaries on it but it seems most want a v-drive. I get the low ballers as well.
I though I would ask the Moomba experts. Do you guys think my price is within fair market value? Here is a link to my ad on craigslist; http://madison.craigslist.org/boa/1609130979.html
Just to be clear this is not an ad to make a sale. I am looking for feedback on pricing.2003 Outback, Assault EFI, (6) Polk Audio DB651s, JL Audio M6600 amp, JL Audio M1700 amp, JL Audio 10w6v2 subwoofer

I've been watching the market for 2 months. I think you are priced about right, especially considering the hours. I think it's not spring yet there. It is just about spring here and I had a bunch of inquiries and refused to even show it (water is 40 min. away) unless they agreed to bring the cash. Sold in about 10 days. I think you should be patient and don't let tire kickers waste your time.
My Mom said I'm not allowed to get wet!

Hello neighbor,
I agree with kaneboats, you are priced appropriatley. I bought my '07 OBV for $23,500 in October, out of Wausau (small world). Very comparable to yours. Mine is a 2007 with less hours, however you have a few more options: bimini, barefoot boom, and the watersports equip you are offering. I also bought mine after the season was over giving me more bargining power.
Yes I do have a V-drive which I found to be harder to come by. I've been told they are more desirable than direct drives as well. IMO you may be dealing with a smaller group of potential buyers than if you had a V-drive.
With all the snow melting right now, give it another month and I bet you'll sell it no problem.
Also, If you would be interested in selling the bimini separatley, let me know?
Good luck

Using NADA as a indicator guide your boat is listed between $18,750 - $21,360 equipped as stated, and i added a few additionals. Out here in Cali i've seen a few around for $20,000 - $21,000 for an '04-'05 DD on craigslist in the recent past. It's not so much what's fair market as it is what the market will bear.
With the economy as it is you might have to get a bit creative or drop the price a bit depending on how fast you want to sell. The boat market is definately not what it used to be and with Vdrives coming down in price a DD is just that much harder to sell.2007 Mobius LSV

Keeping in Mind that reports just released show WI as the 3rd hardest hit states for job loss after Michigan and Nevada. The O7 OBV is a smaller boat and not a good comparison, as the LS and the LSV are the same sized boats. So that would be a closer comparison.
My dealer last year had an 07 LS that I could have had for 28k. So a 3 yr newer boat with some warrenty left for a little more money and under 50 hrs to boot. I'd say you need to be right with Razzs recomondations to sell your boat. I'm sure this is not what you want to hear, but I'm just being honest.
