    Default Good 2nd Prop?

Hey Sled and Deerfield (and anyone else with a DD) -
What do you recommend for another prop?

I have a Federal Supercup Ni-Bral 14x16RH that I am trading to a local ACME dealer and told him I want another prop for spare.

I'm currently running the original 3blade OJ and it works just fine. I'm happy with the top end, whole shot, and rpm range it provides but I've only used it for skiing and wakeboarding so far. I'm going to start surfing as well and sacking the boat out every now and then!

    I think your running a 4blade aren't you Sled?

I'm open to anything right now since I have a prop I can't use and looking for another spare (or upgrade and using the original as spare).

    Any input?

3 blade OJ works fine for surfing. I sack out pretty good too.

When I purchased my 03 outback, the previous owner had a 13x13 4 blade. I found it had slightly less top end but did hole midrange speeds really well. I never ran my boat load with ballast but I suspect it would do better than my 13x13 3 blade that I currently run for a hole shot/slower speeds. I run my 3 blade for better top end, barefoot.

I have a 2004 LS. I use an ACME 543 three blade prop and my spare prop is the stock OJ 4 balde. The 543 is pitched to handle a little more weight and works great for boarding and surfing. I prefer the OJ for skiing.

I've got a practically new OJ XMP 13x 11.5 (3 blade) that needs to go.

We typically run our 13 X 11.5 LC 1" 3-blade for max speed. this is what i was sent this time from oj and the last time he told me a 14 x 14 4 blade, to get top end out of my boat, how inconsistant.

dru - Not sure what you are saying...I told you to run a 14 X 14 on a direct drive?
