Yep that's a great idea. Also plan on filling your ballast and sinking it down a bit for extra clearance. Had to do that a few times on our backup lake to clear the bridge.

I believe the dealers install the batteries so looks like they didn’t route mine quite as cleanly when they put them in. Hmm now I’ll have to clean that up a bit seeing it.

I assume the bimini just stays up while on the trailer as well at hwy speeds? Or do you need to fold the tower down so the bimini is down under the windshield to help with wind?
