For sale! Let me know if you need these bags. I can ship anywhere in the 48.
Got lucky to get some prototype rear bags for the Makai from WM.
The are basically the WM rear bags + an extension (all one piece) to go under the bench seat (halfway). Some rough math = ~600lb...
I've got a prototype new bag coming that I'm going to install next week!
Going to be selling these pretty soon (if all goes to plan). Not sure what a fair price is. Used for about 30 hours. Like new.

Wow. I can't wait to go back out now.
I wonder how much weight we've been missing with them not filling up all the way.... No wonder I was swearing my storage bins would still fit! :D
Double post
[QUOTE=TXSurf4;380319]No the vent wasn't kinked at all as it was spewing out. It definitely filled the entire locker which is what you would expect it to do. I am going to work on figuring out how...

Noticeable change with the 16.5. (Objectively) 35% better holeshot power with no ballast, 15% better with full load.
Ran into bad weather and a small mechanical issue (fill tube for front ballast...
Installing the 16.5 Friday and will go out this weekend and report back.
I wonder how it would sound if you kept the 10's and added the 12's?
Just ordered one! It's annoying as the driver & rider when you think the wheel is straight and it's not.
More feedback, the 15.5x18 is not the right prop for the ballast upgrade and a full crew. It "will" get on plane, but man it's working hard and takes 10-15+ seconds of WOT.
I just ordered a prop...
Thanks! We are loving it.

I learned quick that it's a full-time job if it's a full crew on the boat. Driving, rope tending, tube blow-up'ing, anchoring, etc. etc.
It's pretty sweet...90 degree day and if the boat is moving around at all you don't need towels. If it sits on a dock though in direct sun for 30 min+, it's cooking.
Port.

Thanks all! I figured it would be ok but had to do a sanity check.
The dock has a “middle” spot so it’s possible with enough robe I could tie it up where it doesn’t touch anything ? I’ve got 5...
Taking a family vacation for a week at High Rock lake in NC. The house we are renting has a dock in a nice cove.
No dock cover or boat lift. I’d (obviously) rather not deal with pulling the boat...
That is very odd.Plus the lack of the “moomba” logo on the bags adds to the suspicion that maybe they are mis-packaged?
Out of town but I’ll send a good one the next time I’m out.
My bags say “Moomba” on them next the the “exact fit.” Maybe I missed it on yours, or maybe they just changed how they label them but I thought that was odd.
Also , mine have a slight “L” shape...
