She BADDDDDDD
Don't do it. My dealer did it my first month and had to replace the plastic around the throttle area. The Bimini arm will hit that plastic piece in transit. Get speaker covers if it's critical.
I'll just close my eyes until it's in the water :)

You'll love the protection of the BABZ. I use them when we are tied up in rough waters and/or overnight docks etc. It's especially easy if you can leave them inflated on the dock until you return....
I’ve had the standard sausage tube bumpers (not great) and I’ve also got the BABZ balls (great protection but a pain space wise if you don’t deflate) but I wanted something I didn’t have to inflate...
I guess my whole thing with it is that it’s such an easy fix from a design perspective and not much material cost for SC.
I agree that SC can’t account for all modifications that folks do but...
Agree - just lazy engineering.
I got what I needed from a metal supply store. I ran one single 90 degree piece on one side and sections of another 90 degree to create the channel. Could have just...
I used two sets of the reinforcement angle kits on the panels themselves + removed the factory bottom "channel" and redid it with 3.5" high metal. With the upgraded bags that I also added a drain...
Elevation is wild. I've got the "worst" prop for holeshot speed (the 18 ) and at 700 ft with the 400 motor can surf all day at 3200 rmps with full ballast and full crew. 3500 rpms with the 16.5 and...
Nope but congrats on the order !

Wanted to give some quick feedback as a newbie buying my first boards.
Started last summer with the LF and was a great board to start with. Running the dual-fin setup it's really stable and had...
1 vote for groove #2.
Automotive shop guy here:
If you have it in the wrong groove, it will be spraying oil within 30-90 seconds. 99% of canister filters-bottom groove, the groove above is part of the threads of the...
[QUOTE=mgswake;383947]late night forum surfing? did you ever make it up to check out the house/lake? how was it? what were your thoughts on each?[/QU
I did go check it out. The house was...
I would move them up as far as possible. For the Makai it was a little bit of a deal to get them where I wanted them. Just a few inches is a little tricky due to the angles etc.
You can't really...
On the Makai , you've gotta move em up or you'll be flipping switches off and on to get them full. Not "required," but nice to do.
I went a whole summer just opening the plugs to vent the air....
Just barely! Air temp was 73, water 77. This lake is warmed via a power plant ( waiting on my tail to grow) so that always helps.

Thought I'd show a little wave video with the new bags.
My 14 year old (~145lbs) on the board for the first time this year. Wave had great push for him at 11.1mph, I rode it at 10.8 and also...
I'm conflicted on this. On one hand, I really enjoy seeing people hit my wake safely and having a blast. On the other, I worry bc I don't know their skill level/ safety awareness/etc. Obviously, it's...
There are builds...and then their are builds...:o
MEGA!
Thanks folks!
Got the impeller changed, finished up with the vent lines for the new WM rear bags and moved the sensors up. Ready for a water test before the season officially starts.
Yes, that's the factory one. Bottom is before I put the new one in.
