I think you should let your buddy in on the new 04 VLX, that is 23 ft., has a huge beam, holds 16, and is supposed to have a HUGE wake.

I've always been of the believe that the 45 mph top speed you listed is about "it" for inboard boats. I don't think I've ever been in (or even seen one) go 50+. Sounds like to me the people who are...
