Upgrading the channels works.
You can also add metal strips down the panels to stiffen them up.
You have an ignition wire broken or loose and/or a bad ground.
A test light might need to be used over a meter.
5.7 350 is the same motor in 89-94 GM trucks.
Distributor and parts should be the same.
From the coil wires, follow the harness around the back of the engine and see if you have a broken wire,...
Are your gauges for temp and oil pressure working? You will not have spark if coolant and/or oil sensor has failed. It cuts off the ignition.
Under the steering wheel might be a fuse box or relay...
Coils are weird and heat affected. Could make sense that it failed after it got warm or shorted randomly.
Hopefully this is all it is and you are in business.
Bad coolant temp sensor or bad oil pressure sensor will cause this. Even unplugged sensors will cause this. They are in series with the ignition circuit so the engine saves itself from overheating...
I pulled some gunk out of mine when I first got it. I think these drive condensate a little running in cold water. The gray could be break in residue if this is your first fluid change.
I saw the cockpit camera yesterday of the crash. The safety in that boat is fantastic. The guys didn't panic at all and just sat there the whole time. The fact they won even with the crash just...
Flow 2 vs flow 3 you would notice if you had flow 2 now. Since you don't, I'm not sure it would matter to you but MJH is correct.
My question would be G3 vs G6. G6 is the 6 pump setup.
Go easy with the boat erasers. They are super fine abrasive and can damage the stitching.
Marine 31 will eat through that also but it has a bleach in it so again be careful.
Do you have a wide view video?
Someone video from the launch/dock while you control in the boat.
Having the remote and being able to hold the dock is awesome!
So....it appears this is actually working very well.
I'm sure you have more testing, but do you have plans to build more custom mounts?
Also, are you using the remote control? I would like to...
If this works, Amazon is going to sell out of these once all other sites see these post.
I like the "cruise control" mode. Basically dock hold.
So nice to have the engine in the middle.
Easy access to everything.
Looks great. Need to video when you have it running on the water. Going to feel like a sports car compared to your craz
Instead of rebuilding the carb (easy enough) I would see if an EFI kit can be had for the long term. Might not be worth the coin but at least worth the 1hr of Google searching.
Also, I didn't see...
That was the part number I used for the pulley. I have a local-ish Indmar dealer that ordered both the pulley and the belt for me.
Check though...your looks to be smooth not grooved.
Smooth part...
This the pulley that failed on me. The bearing seized and the belt ate the plastic.
The half inch drive goes in the square hole on the right. My ratchet did not give me enough leverage. I used a 24" breaker bar and it was easy.
If you have an oil extractor for your boat already just it.
You can have someone putting fluid in as you pump the extractor.
Next time anyone needs to do this. Before breaking the line loose,...
Yep. 3 bolts, hub on pump pulls back just enough to run the flat belt through. Bolt pump back to balancer.
The bolts completely suck to remove. Mine had factory orange thread locker and the...
Are the southern states starting to get boats out yet?
We are have 70* weather in Ohio and I know it will snow again so I'm trying to suppress my itch.
Everytime I have thought about doing this, my next thought is shopping for new/used boats.
I don't have the patience for upholstery.
It appears to be a post CAT O2 fault. Mostly caused from water on the sensor.
I doubt the catalyst went bad unless you flooded your bilge or had water travel up the exhaust.
Check the wires for...
Not sure why a complete rewire is needed.
Wire harness is marine quality (aka built for water).
Unplug everything, use dryer fans for a couple weeks in the hull, plug it all back in and try it....
Your boat value is dropping so the premium matches.
I had this conversation with my agent last year since I have an older boat. I picked a firm value now and my rates are always the same. ...
