I don't think it's lazy engineering, but if the dividers pop out with factory ballast, it should be corrected.

Glad you figured this out, the raptor drain hose is awesome combined with the extractor pump.

Warm oil is key and using just gravity method is far too slow.

Cleaned many KN filters over the years, the cleaner is effectively simple green, but I wouldn't substitute the oil.

Key is to not over saturate the oil.

That is the vent to your gas tank. Without it, you wouldn't be able to fill it.
