We grew up in Kpt on S. Holston, Boone and Patrick Henry. Now we ski in VA on both Moomaw and Kerr Reservoir. Planning a trip back home and want to try S. Holston, Watauga, and Fontana. Where do...

F3 Connelly
We got an F3 a few weeks ago and haven't got to try it yet.

I guess you've got a different configuration than ours. And my post missed your point.
That said, I did check the hoses again. We do have a second air hose without a fan that leads from the... -

Our 99 outback ( same hull as yours, i think ) has two air-inlet vent hoses, one each from pick-ups just in front of the left and right windshields. They drop down below the floorboards at midships...

South Holston is near Abington and Bristol. Part is in VA, part ( including the dam ) is in E. Tenn. It is usually 45 feet lower than normal this time of year.

I've had four separate water problems on the 99 outback.

Haven't been on Watauga yet, but it is supposed to be fantastic, mountainous and picturesque.
South Holston is nice, small but clean and beautiful with extremely deep water near the dam. -

Real good question. I generally run with 3 to 6 teenagers, a cooler, and about 30 lbs of tools ( including two big pipe wrenches to adjust the packing gland nut if needed ).

Rough Idle / Cutting Out
This might help, might not. Realized I had a fast-idle problem with 99 Outback at delivery. Transmission would lurch, boat would not engage gently. Dealer turned a screw and slowed the idle ( at 15...
