Little update on this,
Rainy weekend here in ND so I spent the majority of it cleaning the boat. I recalled those 4 bolts on the drive shaft had loosened up earlier this summer so I decided to...
Sorry this happened, no worse way to ruin what would have been a GREAT day!
I hope this all works out for you, I ma sure it will!
It may not be the right thing to do but I removed all the warning stickers, I like a clean looking boat! I have never been stopped for overloading. If anything it would be for a lifejacket check.

all the above and Giddy UP!
(no I am not a Cowboy) it is a Kramer thing from Sienfeld
I was out last weekend and hit a floating log at idle (didn't see it). Put the boat in neutral as soon as I heard the clunk. After that I tired to get going and had a real bad vibration. Loaded the...
I believe all Indmar engines turn right, and no you can't use a LH prop on a RH boat. It is the direction the shaft rotates.
It is really not a big deal letting the oil drain on the wakeplate. after I just use a paper towel to wipe the oil off the plate.
I have an 04 LSV and I change my own oil as well.
I jack up the left rear side of the trailer so the oil drains off the right rear corner of the wakeplate.
Put a ziplock or some...
Well I am going to try replacing the paddle wheel. Anyone doe this on a LSV?
I am guessing the floor has to come out. It doesn't look too bad, I am guessing just remove the visiable screws in the...
PP works off RPM - I don't like it as much as running off speed so I am still going to try and figure this out. Told the wife I know what will fix it.........a 2008 LSV!

Take a look at the strut (brass hanger that the drive shaft goes through)
I would even hookup water, start the boat, and put it in gear. Then take a look at the prop/shaft, if the shaft is bent you...
I have a 2004 LSV - I ski behind it (only on glass) usually the first run of the day, you know before we fill the ballast. It is not too bad, not great, nothing like a DD boat. I ski at 15 off.
I rarely trailer far - it is about 5 miles from my driveway to the boat ramp.
I went out last night and I noticed the temp reading was jumping all over as well reading 61 - 72- 84 -70 just jumping...
After reading the manual that is kind of what it sounded like.
I am going out tonight, I am going to "try" a system reset but I am sure it will be the paddle wheel.
WEnt out at 5:00 am to get a few sets in before work today. One hour into our fun my peferfect pass started acting up. It is registering erratic speeds
jumping from 0 to 40 at idle. we had to finish...

Thanks! It has been good!
(thanks for that logo design)
I have been waiting for this topic to pop up. Yes this gas thing really sucks!
Almost to the point of taking the fun right out of boating. It has me thinking about purchasing a scotter (Ninja 500...
You should really consider a drysuit! I get a lot more boarding in!
Check them out!
First time out, back the boat in, keep it hooked up to the trailer, start it and check for any "leaks" i.e. a hose you may have missed.
Don't forget the heater hoses if you have a heater!
If she sinks I will make a quick call to the insurance company and get a new one on order! (I am sure this would work at least once)

I have a "friend" that threatens the "F" rods once in a while - I have made it VERY clear that the "F" rods would NOT be funny even as a joke!
No "F" rods on my boat!
Nice boat - glad you cleared...
Shoot me an e-mail.
If you are interested in a Liquid Force board I can get you setup.[/u]
I know this is a LONG shot but something to check. We still do not know what caused my buddies XLV Distributor cap (inside) to become wet to the point of corrosion but he had some strange issues and...
Started the year here in ND yesterday as well, Record high Air Temp for the day at 80, water was 47ish. Worn the drysuit and it was like a mid summer day! It was GREAT to get teh boat back out! P.S....
