I had the same problem with mine which I attribute the sun drying out the rubber. I simply lathered some protectant on the platform and never had problems with people tracking it on the vinyl again....

i'm assuming you reinforced it with some sort of plate on the inside of the hull? i thought about putting some bolts in there, but have to think it's going to be tricky as he!! to get under the floor...

how does the jeep tow? what engine do you have in yours? I saw that the 3.7L is only rated at 3500lbs.

you will not find a better deal than that. trust me. if you can pony up the extra cash, you will thank yourself later. on financing, that only equates to a few extra $$ a month. WELL worth it.
