    I had the same boat and had no leakage at the shaft seal.....never worried about it. Check the sealant and screws around the the exhaust fittings, could be leaking there

    If you hooked your lines up backwards the pieces should be in your intake line. How old is your impeller? Did you switch the lines then run the motor after the first event .... would explain pieces...
