I recommend an Armstrong HS1550 V1, 60cm fuse, 72 cm mast and 232 tail. That is something you can grow into.

If you want more stable then Armstrong cf1600, 70cm fuse, 72cm...

I just fill ballast 30% and for foiling that is plenty big even with only 1 person on the boat!

For second wave your back foot should be right over the forward half of the mast. Front foot should just be shoulder width if not a little narrower.

I'm in Canada. 1 gallon\3.8 liters of Amsoil is $70. 1 gallon of Delvac on Amazon is $225 and I can't find it anywhere else.

The dealer wants $45 for 1 liter of Indmar 50.

Just wondering if this is a direct substitute for the Delvac 50/Indmar 50 V drive fluid? The Delvac 50 and Indmar 50 are hard to get here but I can get the amsoil easily.

That's exactly what I did. The whole thing was very easy to do. The only thing I screwed up was ordering twice as much coolant as I needed as it was concentrate.

I agree, impeller puller and it's a 10 to 15 minute easy job. I've done it 4 times already. Dealer wants to do it for $200. I did it in 15 minutes for $45 and i didn't have to tow it in.

I put a container under the hose and disconnected it.

Very easy, so do it yourself. The only unexpected thing is not all the coolant drained out, I think there will always be some that can't drain.
