Are the southern states starting to get boats out yet?

We are have 70* weather in Ohio and I know it will snow again so I'm trying to suppress my itch.

If you are winterizing now, I would see about getting a replacement or having a local shop weld a bung in the tube while it is off.

Just fully remove it and you have all winter to get the new one...
