I've read the entire manual package. How do you get to the bottom of the tranny to remove those two bolts, remove the plate, and drain the fluid without dumping the contents into the bilge?

Have a new Outback. Engine is carbureated. Has 35 hours now. Engine runs very rough at idle and slow speeds. There's some smoke, and a lot of "raw exhaust" smell. Seems like it's running "rich"....

Curious....What kind of GPH are you guys getting on your carbureated engines? Of course, depends ENTIRELY on how you're running your boats, but as a reference point, how about general...
