Cockpit and tonneau cover leaking...
8 gallons of water.....just pumped 8 gallons of water with my shop vac after a heavy rain on my new Mondo. Kind of a lot..and every thing was dry before the rain, so it's not coming from seals or ballast...
And both cockpit and tonneau cover were in place....my dealer even made some mod to the overs so both fresh air intake are covered...
Anyone has experience something like that?? And what dud you do to correct it??
Thanks!!

If you store your boat outside, you should always pull your drain plug out.

Ok, DON'T pull the drain plug if it's in the water. But, you need to check that bilge pump ASAP! I've seen moombadaze and kaneboats LSV's endure hour long downpours at my place and the bilge pumped out most of the water. Never did we see 8 gal left in the bilge. A mooring cover would also help.

Had so much water a few weeks ago the water was up to the carpet floor. The gas tank actually push up the floor.
The automatic bilge wasn't working..
