I would have killed for 13mpg. We pulled 1200 miles roundtrip down to the Ozarks for Brostock one year in my Tahoe averaging 8 MPG when gas was around $4.00 a gallon.
Paid $5.15/gallon at Danglng Rope marina when we went to Rainbow Bridge. That was a painful fill-up
I used to tow my off shore boat down to destin fl. For fishing in the gulf. That was around 700 miles round trip.17mpg while towing is great, my truck doesn't get that on its own, and when I towed the off shore boat I got like 8 mpg.
I once towed my previous boat to Greers Ferry Lake, AR from VA 2,100 miles round trip. I know, pretty stupid. Almost ashamed to admit it.
I like the skinny pedal on the right so when I two with my gas truck I am happy to see above 9 or 10 mpg and with my diesel 14 mpg. but I catch myself running 70 plus pulling the boat all the time.
