If you get the tow package, its 11.2K
Without i think its 9K.
Stuart, no truck is out of the 5/100K so I had no warrenty.
When i got the truck i had a 2 / 24K engine warrenty and that was also expired. So all repairs are out of pocket.

Wow! Congrats on the new truck!
Did you eat the repair on the trade in? 3 fords in a row with problems...
Where are all the dodge truck jokes now? Lol. Should have picked up a Cummins!
Averaging 18mpg with 37's and no oil on the ground.
All jokes aside, great looking truck, hope this does the job for you.
Wow! Congrats on the new truck! Thanks
Did you eat the repair on the trade in? 3 fords in a row with problems... Actually 2 the 06 5.4 was just a pig towing
Where are all the dodge truck jokes now? I got plenty still. Lol. Should have picked up a Cummins! If Ram would have picked up that 5.0 Cummins i would have.
Averaging 18mpg with 37's and no oil on the ground. Nice how many miles ya got?
All jokes aside, great looking truck, hope this does the job for you
I actually was seriously considering a Ram truck. Went to Ram Dealer <on my way to Ford> and they just low balled the F350 really bad. I wasn't surprised with the issues. The problem came when making a deal on a new truck. They just didn't want to budge on anything. So I got up and left.
As for the trade in I was expecting low 20s because of the oil leak but they ended up giving me 23 and some change. The fact the truck was in excellent condition, and had new tires, camper shell, and the interior was really nice they worked with me on the trade in.
I'm just over 1 yr with my EB F150. I still love it. The EB is a great engine. Read up on the F150 forums, intakes and exhausts do nothing to the truck except change the sound. A tune is good for @ 50 hp/100 ft. I am avg 18.5 for the yr in mixed driving.
Mine is rated for 10.8 on towing and with my boat, it doesn't feel it.
I'm sure you will enjoy it.
I've never heard of all those issues from just 23 degrees. That sounds very very odd to me. Is this a common thing with the 6.4 in colder climates??

Congrats on the truck. I just hit the year mark as well with my Ecoboost. I still have a perma-grin every time I drive it.
I personally haven't heard of this issue but dealer didn't seem surprised.
I do know the front crank seal, bed pan seals, and oil pump cover seal are more common fail items at 100k according to the diesel forums.
I know each of the big 3 have issues and Ford has always been lower mileage.
6.0 has always been egr system, oil cooler, and heads
6.4 is cooling system oil leaks
Real problem comes in a lot of major repairs you have to remove the entire cab. That alone adds 1-2k to all major repairs.
Dodge and Chevy have there issues also but I'm not going to go that direction.
I seriously considered a Ram diesel or Duramax. Problem with Ram is those huge honking tow mirrors. Also the tires look small on the truck so I'd be spending 2k on lifting the front and new tires.
Chevy didn't get an option because I think Chevy needs a 4-6inch lift to even look tuff. Also Claudia is a Ford girl and that says a lot when you have to keep the Mrs happy.
Fords do look the best hands down!
