"only about 1/2inch from the robber seals"
thats more that enough room, after a few times you dont even think about it, heck my 08 would actually graze the rubber seal.
7ft door here and I have to have someone in the boat hold the tower down to clear the rubber seal. took one look at that boat and knew it was never destin for a 7ft door :)
the things we have to endure to upgrade :)
why can't builders figure out that 11ft doors on a 30ft deep garage should be standard..
I have 3 bays and all 3 are too short. Have to put her in the double door (at least the new one is 8 ft high) and turn her sideways. I don't get to park in there but my '01 Suburban doesn't care. Wife can still squeeze in the first bay. Good enough. Room for dirtbikes next to the boat too.
my house was built backwards.
should be a 1500sqft garage and a 780sqft house :)
Less to vacuum. But see:

vacuum? what's that?
sounds like that strange device that makes a lot of noise that runs when I am not around and leaves clean carpet behind and 2 pissed off dogs..
Man, you just brought back a great memory for me. One Sunday night when I was in college, at our fraternity chapter meeting, a guy introduced a motion banning all electrical cleaning appliances from electrical outlets during all regular and postseason Bears games (they used to play in the postseason back then). It was hilarious. Our Little Sisters org gals used to come over on Sun. mornings and "clean" the house-- their work would extend into the noon kickoff times and angered a few guys. I'm laughing all over again just thinking about that one. Like a preview of being married.
