How much gas did you go through this year - 2012

Acording to the average usage we have which is about 6 gal an hour due to the weight we run, we come to about 1900 in boat fuel, add 1/2 for truck fuel due to diesel being 4.30 a gal and we spent apx 1200 in diesel

So thats right around 3100 in fuel for the summer.

Add 20 per day in beer on average with a 3 day a week average boating for 14 weeks.
Thats 840 in beer.

Right at 4000 for the summer boating activities.

Now this doesnt include spending for the yearly Moomba Jam we do, or the charity event we did, or the 2 trips to Cali and of course the trip to Texas. Add roughly another 2K to that and we end up with a grand total of 6K for our summer fun.

Yeah when you start adding all that together might as well add boat note payments, storage fees, insurance, any new boards or upgrades you got done....heck I spend over 5k on boating fun a year before I ever even put the thing in the water lol

Exactly why we put money away each month in the off season to compensate the main season.

I have said many times before that im glad we have a shorter season them you southern guys or i would go bankrupt LOL

We put about 43 hours on the boat before soccer took over.
43 X 5 gph X 3.85 = $827.75
Towed about 2,400 miles
2400/11.5 X 4.15 = $866.08

But well worth it, next year I hope for more hours for us and plan on bringing Wake the World to Columbus and making the trip to Wake the World WV.

65hr this year. So, I reckon 1400.00 or so, not to mention the slip. Let's not go there! :)

Beer / Vodka. Can't calculate.

So far, ( and the year ain't over, still going to put another 20 to 30 on before jan 1st) 100 hours @ $3.65 5 gph = $1825 doesn't seem like it should be that much though... But I guess it was. we did do 100 hours so far...

510 gallons so far this year and still going. Not including tow vehicle. We looks foward to the gas bill the 3-4 months when we don't go to the lake. We sure miss not being able to go during those months.

I remember those days. Almost bought a big crew cab Ford V-10 when it "seemed" affordable to fill.
