Awesome!!! Best Christmas gift of all!!
For those on fb, please check out INT of Georgia for updates and to post encouragement for Slade Erickson. He was participating in an INT wakeboarding event this past weekend on Lake Hartwell and broke both femurs while riding.

Prayers sent up for Slade. Looks like he's doing a lot better. Love how the wakeboard community shows its support for him. Good folks out there.
Requesting your prayers please... I had an AWESOME wakeboard run Friday afternoon. on my last jump of my 2nd run I landed and slid out. While I was sliding on my butt, the front of the board caught and pulled away, stretching my knee until it pulled apart :( Later in the day, after keeping it iced, it wasn't swelling and didn't hurt to put weight on it, so i went for a surf run. Went great. 2nd run i grabbed a skim-style board and tried a spin. Fell, but no biggie. Tried again and really messed up my knee. Have a dr. appt at 3 today, so we'll see...
Prayers sent Ryan - yikes. Been watching my own knee pretty closely here too...
Prayers lifted for Ryan.
thanks guys.
Update: They drained 35cc of blood out of my knee yesterday and it feels MUCH better today. Still no weight on it obviously. new pain killers (much better), and appt Friday evening for an MRI. Speculating torn ACL which will require surgery :( Won't know more until next week's follow-up.
Best of luck!!! When I snow ski.... I get to go in.... Usually pull 55cc container...... And give me a shot.....
I'm at doc now yanked my finger good on wake surfing fall..... Dislocated.... Buddy put that back in on boat..... But it still hurt couple days later.... Other end nuckle is all wacky.... Getting prognosis today....

update:
So I"m looking at MRI images with the dr. this morning and he says "See that dark spot there? That's where your ACL is supposed to be." :(
Complete tear of my ACL, small tears in other ligaments, and bruised bones. At least my MCL is not damaged...
Starting physical therapy tomorrow, meeting with surgeon next week. Surgery in 2-3 weeks I guess.
Prayers appreciated!
More prayers your way Ryan for a speedy recovery.
I had a booboo on Friday - right knee buckled on impact. Kind of screwed up the weekend. Still able to sort of walk but any twisting and I'm done. See what the doc says here soon.
well, that wasn't what I was hoping to hear. prayers for a speedy recovery!
Well hopefully not too bad. Dr says bad muscle strain and problems with the meno poppy (meniscal popliteal?) nerve - everything keeps going numb from knee down. Says to start with PT recovery and strengthening session. If I can't do the moves then back in for MRI.
orthoscopic surgery will be first week in Oct. to put a dead person's ACL in my knee. Doc said I do have some meniscus damage that's he's going look at while he's in there and then make the decision on what to do with it.
lots of prayers needed, my daughter is suffering from depression and bulimia, she is as of this afternoon under a suicide watch at a treatment center
Heart broken for you! Prayers sent.
Ah Man..........Will be praying for you for sure!! As a Father I feel your pain

Prayers for D and for you and Laurie. Please tell her we all love her and miss her and can't wait to see her again in Feb. if not before.
Can't imagine what you are going thru -- sending prayers your way!!!
Stacy, thoughts and prayers from up north to you and the whole family Stay strong she needs you both !
Praying for you Stacy. Hopefully she's doing a little better by now?
As an update (apologies for waiting so long), I"m back to work full time today, 1 day short of 4 weeks after having an ACL replacement and meniscus repair. I was on crutches for 3 weeks. I started half days at work after 2 weeks. I got the boat winterized and put away. I have repaired motorcycles that my kids broke while I have to watch from the back porch (killing me not to ride!!!). It hasnt' been a cake-walk, but it hasn't all been as bad as it could be either. thanks for all your prayers. Keep them coming! I will be flying to Chicago and back twice over the next 2 weeks, and be staying there for all but 2.5 days of the next 2 weeks. Not looking forward to it at all... Thanks.
Any weird, uncontrollable urges to kick things or run in circles?
;) Sorry- couldn't resist!

Moombadaze -
not sure how I missed this news about your daughter.
Wow.
How is she doing now? Please tell her hello from T and I, and that we always thought she was a terrific kid - which she is!!
Glad to hear things have improved, Stacy. Hope all continues to go well for you and your family.
thanks for the continued thoughts. she is home full time now, 3 nightly meetings a week for a little while now. she did tell me a couple nights ago she never wants to do that again.
Our payer and tonights have been with you and your family since the first post and continue during the days ahead.
