Pettttttttty!!!! No mannnn, I was looking forward to inviting myself on your boat 😁
I'm sorry to hear about your loss.
Your number still the same!?
So we just had our 2nd annual WTW event at Bethy Creek this last weekend and I wanted to give some of you Trinity first timers a run down. There was some drift wood this weekend and most of this will probably be gone unless we get a big rain north of the lake but just be aware to be on the look out for such stuff. This is a river and there can be stuff washed into it after a good down pour. Next thing is to remember not to feed the wild life on the river. You may encounter some animals that you do not see a lot of in you home lake so remember that this is their home and do not bother or feed them in any way. When launching your boat at Bethy Creek I seem to have my luck launching on the ramp to the left when standing on shore looking at the water. The other side seems to have some problems. If you have never been to Bethy Creek before make sure you FOLLOW someone who is experienced through the cut and into the river you first time. Although the lake is full you still need to know where to go!
Speaking of wildlife in that area, I just read this. Pretty cool

Dam Petty, I was planning on Surfing and drinking beer with you in the afternoons.
Ok looks like I need to hitch a ride with someone in the Afternoons, I was planning my early 8am surf sessions with the Allisons like normal.
Then I normally hope boats in the afternoon for more surfing and drinking.
Gotta get me there one of these years.
I'm right there with ya Mike, boat-less. 500 miles (one way) is quite the haul for me and the fiancé to bring our baby blue!
I told David the fiancé and I might crash the midday tie up on a paddle boat with our cooler in tow lol
Or this...
