Haven't had a chance to try my setup out yet, still a month or so unmtil the season starts..
but...
2006 Moomba Mobius LSV
Gravity I stock ballast
2x 550lb Fly-High V-Drive Sacs
2008 Inland Surfer Red Woody
and an Accurate Wake-surf line for a handle
haven't found a speed yet as I haven't got to ride yet.
I am pretty new to Wakesurfing.. went yesterday for 2nd time this year... 3rd time overall..
I have 06LSV and fill center locker, 750 in rear side and put a few peeps on that side. Wakeplate between half and 3/4 up.. We played with speed some yesterday.. I rode at high 9's to 10. With my buddy, I sped up a little to 11's and lengthened the wave a little.. I would like a couple more people next time... 2 wives and a driver... not too much weight on the side...
2007 Moomba LSV
Gravity III updgraded to 750's in the rear lockers.
Ride with center and surfside rear 100% full and wakeplate up 100% @ 10mph
WHAT NEXT?
I've only been out twice so I am tweaking my setup.... thinking of adding one of my original oem 400lb sacs to the surfside and moving human ballast (usually 2 people, 350lbs) up front... thoughts?
Sounds like you have the exact same setup as me. try wakeplate 100% up and put one of your peeps up front.Quote:

adsman,
The hose is kinda tight but fits..I'll try the wakeplate and person up front. Thanks
2007 Mobius LS
Stock Gravity III - 100% Full
2 X 260# Fly-High Side sacs (in L-shape around engine)

Wake Plate 100% UP
Speed 9 - 11 MPH
Fresh Air Exhaust (new for this season)
Boards:
2007 Hyperlite Broadcast 4'9" (great to learn, but have out grown)
2008 Walker Project F-18 4'9" (just got it, can't wait to ride it)
08 lsv-Gravity 3 with 750's in Rear extra 400# up front.
Speed-10-11mph
surfside ballast full-
400# middle full-
people in boat sitting rear surfside
wakeplate 90-100%
Music-Beach Boys (gets a lot of laughs)
I've been borrowing a CWB Tsunami I need to buy one- any Ideas?
It would be great if it will fit in board racks! would like to stick with CWB..what are the diff. b/w the ride,Tsunami, and Razr? i read specs but they mean nothing to me.
________
Suzuki DR800S
i can verify the cwb ride will fit the stock moomba racks
Great to have a wakesurf area. My setup;
07 LSV
750# full in rear surfside replacing stock bag
center 400# full
350# tube sac on seats of surf side.
I have noticed that this boat needs more weight in the front so this year i am planning on adding some lead in the bow.
I have also surfed a friends XLV a lot and that boat needs even more weight up front. THe weight also needs to be on the surf side of the bow. Too much weight in front center seems to hurt the wake also. Both boats can produce large wakes, but that does not mean that they have drive. I honestly have not been able to get as good of a wave out of the LSV as i did with my previous LS and i believe that is because there is too much weight in the rear. Just ordered a new Shred Stixx Jamako so i can't wait to get out soon and play with my setup and new board!
