boomerang pulling hard to the right

I recently purchased a 1997 boomerang with only 90hrs. I have really been enjoying the boat using it several times a week. Yesterday when i started to get it up on plan it was really pulling to the right. If you let go of the wheel it will make a hard right turn. It has never done that before. I checked everything obvious. The only thing i could find was a little play in the sleeve just about the rudder, but it did not seem like enough to mater. I there something else it could be, something else I might check out? Thanks in advance for any help.
