wind blocker
Hey guys, I am wondering if anybody has fabricated a windblocker for the walk through in the bow. My buddies malibu has one and it is slick. Even on a nice day we have a 4 month old in the boat she dosent like the wind.
In my old sunsetter I made one but I was wondering if there is a factory option for it or if I have to make it again. I do have the snap tarp which will work when we dont have a boat load if people but I really like the windblocker.
2005 lsv is my boat!

Somebody on here built an excellent one. Can't remember who. I'll bet if you search you can find the pics though.

I did do a search and all i seen was an older boomarang. Is this a mod that not amny people do?
i know that is just makes it so much more comfortable on cooler days to be out in the boat!

I built a plexiglass wind dam for mine...I will post pics of it soon. My older brother has an 07 Wakesetter and I got the idea from him and cut it and did it just like the malibu's.

The previous owner of my boat had a plexiglas wind block built, that slides into a track in the walkway. We mainly use it for towing, as it eliminates any seats flying out.

I did one but I did not take any pics or post anything about it. I actually made mine hinged from the port side with a slide action bolt to hold it closed. I used two plastic catches to hold it open. I have had it on there for all last season and it worked great! I can take some pics tomorrow and post up, if you are interested.
