Advice for new boat

I plan on buying an Outback V this winter at the Michigan Boat Show. The last Moomba I bought was back in 2001. Primary use will be to wakeboard and surf. I'd like an LSV or Mondo but can't justify the extra $$$

Any options that are a must? Wish you would have got?

Also - how long does the build process take.

there's a leftover outback v that has popped up on cl in chicago and milwaukee area. might be a lot cheaper than new. if I were you and you don't mind getting a color someone else(dealer) picked out, look for a holdover '13 lsv. if you like to board/surf, that might be a better bang for the buck..

These two statements are huge contradictions, IMO and the price gap between these isn't all that much.

Agreed with Wolfeman, the differance in price isnt much compared to the boat you gain in the Mondo or LSV. The Mondo is a new boat for '14 so no holdovers but seems to be alot of '13 LSV and Mojo on the market that will go cheap come Jan and Feb at the boat shows.

How much difference? I thought the difference was around 10K.

Run a boat builder online to get MSRP, but I think you will find its 1/2 of your number.
