I am running my speaker wires into the tower and was wondering how everybody is running them into the boat. Are you using a plug in conector like the nav light or are you using a grommet, silicone, or something else? Would love to see pics. Thanks again for the help.

My tower is already wired. I need to go from bottom of tower hole to inside of boat.
I use a marine cable outlet like this.

Does he need to leave some slack for if/when he folds the tower? On that boat the tower folds forward, toward the bow.Quote:

Perfect. Just didnt want him to rip anything apart if/when he collapses the tower.

Speaking of tower speakers, I have the connectors that came from WS with my speakers (I can post a pic if I am not clear). What is everyone using to protect this connector and the underlying speaker wire when disconnected from the speakers? I will have to take my tower speakers down after each use and I'm curious about how to cover that connector from the elements?

FWIW. This is also part of my project. I'll probably use a ribbed flex tube to close in the wires.

I used a Neutrik connector from PartsExpress. Easy twist/snap connection that can be disconnected extremely easily. Not that I have ever had a need to remove my tower, but if I do. Maybe thinking ahead for the next owner?? :)

I did search for the deusch style to match the OEM plug on the driver's side but they were harder to track down and these ended up being less expensive.
Either way - I personally wanted a quick disconnect!

Begin preparing now and get the beer in the fridge.
I just drilled a hole under the tower foot and then had to come out for a jump between the tower and then one more at the top.
