Here's another question for ya... I have "I guess" stock tower speakers with I think are 6 ½s ... dose anyone know if they are 6 ½s or are they a different size? And can I or dose anyone know if I can replace the speakers with some polk db651….???

Hey, I don't know the answer to that one but is there anything else you need? Some of my cousin's guys wanted baby wipes or other stuff to make life a little more bearable. PM me with your needs and address and I'll do what I can, right? USA
They should be 6.5 and the polks should fit. with out seeing any pics would be helpul in confirming size, but i understand your distance dilema..
check out this site on ebay has a ton of cool stuff, even 6.5 in pods with lights in the back of them. may get two things in one package.

jmvotto, thanks for the site but the problem I’m running into is finding the right clamp sizes for my tower.
So I got a hold of my mom and talked her into getting my little sister's camera and taking a few pictures of the boat for me. So I’m looking at the tower speakers in the picture and they look like 6.5, I just hope I can put a different speaker in the can.
