When you say upgrade your prop with the 575 what are you looking to accomplish? Higher top speed, Lower RPMs for surfing?
Printable View
Looking to lower RPMs if possible and save on fuel consumption.
Currently, surf RPMs fully loaded with stock ballast 3500lbs and 1000lbs of lead with medium size crew is 3500-3600rpm running 11.2-11.5mph.
Do the 575’s have a boost gage?
Curious what boost levels are at fully loaded surf speeds.
I think ideally you want boost to get to your set speed quickly and then be out of boost as you surf at 11mph or wakeboard at 22 for example.

I know this is not the typical place to buy a prop. I'm not promoting or advertising for them in any way. I did order my prop, OJ 945, with hard case remover kit. All in they shipped it to me for under $700 earlier this year.
They have since changed prices to fit the covid economy but still a hell of a deal.

I would recommend the OJ 948 (15x14) for your 575 motor. Similar to what you have now, I know OJ and ACME are different, but you can order with the soft case and puller kit for $759 shipped to your door. Took them 2 weeks to get it to me. I now have my ACME 1235 in the kit as a backup.
Have you called and spoken to anyone at ACME about this? I had great luck in calling as their customer service was great! Once they recommend a few just buy it wherever you can get it cheapest. You definitely want to go up in pitch as stated to lower RPMs but you don't want to go to high as it can begin to struggle to hold surf speed. I assume with the 575 this might be less of a problem.
The 575 does not have a boost gauge, but when you are pulling a surfer up you can audibly hear the whine of the blower as it gets up to surf speed then the blower whine is barely noticeable once it reaches 11.2-11.5. Not sure I can expect to really lower my RPMs since they are 3500-3600 at surf speed. I don't have any problem maintaining/holding surf speed with the Acme 2247 now, I was just thinking if I am going to buy another prop why not find out if there was something more efficient currently being offered.
I’m running 16x12.5 on my 2021 se 550. I’m also running 1600 in lead.
