Information / opinions needed concerning an Oil Extractor
I am looking to buy a oil extractor to start changing the fluids in our 2013 Moomba LSV. All I can find are ones that extract the oil from the dip stick - Are their any that you can hook to the hose that comes from the engine?? How many of you change your own oil? do any take to the dealer to change?? I did take our boat to the dealer for the first service but I can buy all kinda new tools / gadgets if I do this myself - Lots of savings!! Thanks for the help and advise!

I was spoiled when I was in NJ, I got to use my dads mityvac fluid extractor and now I miss it!
Does that HF extractor really work without a mess? And the lines are long enough? Might be a temp solution for me until I get a mityvac

Bought a fluid pump and set up a hose like this.

This is my Ilmor setup, on my boat I remove the piece of hose and screw the female air compressor fitting onto my oil change hose in the boat.

They make buckets with pumps attached to the lids but I made this for the same money at harbor freight, you could easily make cables that are long enough to hook to your boat battery and not put a battery on the cart.

Here is my transmission attachment. Horrible pic but you can barely see the female compressor fitting on the left just like the one above I use for oil.
