some photos from last years jam
if your a days drive or so away, its worth the days drive or so to make it
This is a non-SC sponsored event, but we will have all the things needed to have a great time: a great lake, lots of bergers & dogs, cold beer and plenty of Skier's Choice boats.
Following are a few details about Lake Sinclair for anyone that wants to join us:
located in Milledgeville, GA - 15,000+ acres of water and 417 miles of shoreline. often cited as "the cleanest lake in GA"

If you're out looking for us, we live in the Island Creek area of Lake Sinclair. We'll plan to be down by the Sinclair Dam around 10:00 am and go from there. Around 2:00 pm, I'll get my grill fired up and we can get together for some fun & fellowship.
Local hotels on the West side of the lake are close to public ramps and town of Milledgeville, but better for hanging out with all of us are the condos at Lake Sinclair Villages. Older, but mostly remodeled and in good shape with a ramp on site, assigned slip, etc. for same, or less, than a hotel room. Here is an example:

There are some rental homes available also.
There are a few islands on the lake that people do primitive camping on. These islands offer some great spots to hang out and enjoy the lake. They are located close to the Sinclair Dam & Baldwin County Airport (for those looking on a map)
Below is a map with some of the key places such as Marinas with gas & ramps, GA Power daily access ramps (I think these require a nominal daily fee), WalMart SuperCenter, a few restaurants, Lake Sinclair Villages and my place.
We will plan to stay in the Isalnd Creek area which is the arm that the Lake Sinclair Villages and my place are on as well as the main body of water to the South, by the dam.
Below is a pic & link (hope it works) to the google map I made that should let you zoom in/out, get directions, etc.

About time you FINALLY put up the thread...SLACKER!
The E4 Clan is IN!
perfect!
Just figured it out, roughly 2700 miles one way. So if I drive 15 hrs a day I should be there in three days. Guess I'll have to head out on Wed the 11th to make it on time.
811 miles for me. Would love to come down but have a couple other long weekend boat trips planned.
Just got our rental house locked down! Looks to be in the same area as you. Has 2 covered lifts and we'll be coming down EARLY Friday morning and heading out to Florida Sunday afternoon! REALLY looking forward to this week of vacation!

Nice score, E4!
600+ miles for us but made the trip last year and itwas well worth it. We are planning on doing it again this year as long as the arrival of our second daughter goes off on schedule. Due date is June 25!! Nothing like a 2 week old on a boat. Start them out the right way!!!
Sure wish we had a LIKE button on here!
Our condo is rented, cant wait.
Only 240 miles for us. We'll be there for sure. Is this the 4th annual?
Todd, hope it works out and you and your family can make it up
This year will be the 5th annual. Thank you for attending every one of them. This is the link to the 4th last year:

I put it on my calendar and will run it by the wife. I'm about 1/2 hour closer now at the new house, so not sure if it'll be for just one day or another last-minute hotel stay. Lol. I hope we can make it, it was a great time last year. Lots of great people.
As for kids, if we make it we'll have 7, ages 6 months thru 14 years. :)
Yeah, picked up on that. He was a huge help last year!
Ryan,
Didn't I see something about oldest off to an internship in KS?
Yup, he is. He's working his tail off, but loving it. He's very responsible and they are taking advantage of it, turning him loose with big tractors and stuff. I was thinking that is what you were referering to, that I only had 7 instead of 8 coming. Lol. I just wasn't sure...
So I did lose my boat driver, but I started training Cam today. He is doing great!
Hope to see as many of you that can make it in July!
wolf trying to make plans to come to jam if we stay at fairfield inn what would be best ramp to use
thanks stanley
Awesome! Bass Boat House will probably be closest and less busy than then GA Power ramps. Short run to where we all will be, too.

44 days till the Sinclair Jam. Time to start stockpiling beer (note to self-- do not invite 3 brothers over week of the 4th).
Heading down to Wolfeville this weekend to check it out! Was going to hang with the Wolfe Clan but something came up and they won't be down there this weekend. Hopefully I can add some nice pics to the June picture thread.
Hey Salyers,
I went by Cleveland, TN on my drive up to Columbus, OH yesterday. Looks like 4 hrs to Sinclair for you. :)
Let's get the Mojos out there and see what kind of surf bowl we can make!
I can't wait to try one of those! All we do anymore is surf. I take a couple passes on the wakeboard each trip out but nothing special. A couple of W2W jumps. Some grabs and 180's with occasional 360. Inverts hurt too much! At 31 you'd think it wouldn't hurt so bad. It didn't at 21!!! I'd say there is an 70% chance I'll be at Sinclair. Looks like a beautiful lake. Reminds me of Wedowee in Central,AL Only thing I miss about Alabama. Would love to get together with some moomba maniacs. There are about 3-9 Moombas out at the Hiwassee river in Charleston,Tn which is my normal boat spot. I haven't seen any of them on this site though.:? Only thing I get from most of them is a wave.
well, kaneboats will be at Sinclair & he'll give ya more than a wave!
When I start shootin' beers with my water baloon cannon you'll know who it is.
Hate to disappoint Daze and Wolfy but went out on the Flint for 7 hours on Sat. and came away clean. She's still all ready to zip up to Sinclair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Leave it in the garage until July!
Dang I wish I lived in the south... or was independantly wealthy. Hope you guys have a great time!
