way to much time on your hands, now I would rather be deaf than blind...
LMAO... just answer the question!!!!!!!
Is this on repeat the entire time we are stranded?
This is... you can take one piece of music... ok, I will open it up...
What one album would you take!
And yes, it's cold out, the boat is winterized, I have WAY too much time on my hands!
i hate yall
ok, let's talk about the state of things in Iran. YAWN, sure hope they don't actually arm ICBM's
Here is a current topic, and boat related ...
If you hit a rock this summer and the boat is sinking, don't grab the closest lifejacket and bail leaving everyone else for themselves.
As long as you don't sound the abandon ship sound you should be good to go.
it is boat related... but we are in the "off topic" section. Better move this to General Discussion.
I'm going old school, from 1978 . . .
Van Halen's debut album, Van Halen which included such great hits as:
Running with the Devil
You Really Got Me
Ain't Talkin 'bout Love
Jamie's Cryin
I'm waiting to hear from him now I hope! Thanks!
For the record ... I'm not saying you have to do anything; you could rewire current setup even. I was just throwing some options out. The 700.5 is a quick easy way to get your speakers what they want.
On the topic, I'd likely pick some form of Rap album. I've got 3 or 4 in mind. Be tough to narrow it down.
I'll just hope that when my plane/boat goes down and I get to the island I have my ipod and headphones on me. lol
depends on who's with me.
Kathy Bates=screaming cut my throat death metal(so I actually do cut it)
Carmen Electra=barry white :)
then I hope that Francesco Schettino is piloting a boat nearby so I will eventually have an unlimited supply of piped-in music...
LMAO... This thread just made my day!!! I was actually in tears by the time I got to the end. Thanks guys!
I'm going to have to go not quite so old school. 1994 the band Live, the album Throwing Copper. Rarely listen to it, but is one I could listen to on a loop. Great album if you get a chance to listen to it. Sounds awesome on a good system. A close second would be The Carpenters... ok not really
I love Dance, hip-hop, R&B, House, Country, but there is no way I could listen to Pitbull, Deadmou5e, Kenny Chesney, or 50 on a loop. I would have to throw myself under Kathy bates.
Yeah, you can't be jackin' your own thread chawk! Go back to your other one with this amp nonsense!
Dusty, list out the 3 or 4. My guess is you're going to say:
LL Cool J's BAD
Vanilla Ice's To the Extreme
NWA's Straight Outta Compton
Snoop Dogg's Doggystyle
Ha!
I will grab Dark Side of the Moon on my way down!
Absolutely loved NWA back in the day. Actually was bustin some 2 Live Crew last week. Great tunes!
You guys are way more "street" than I am! :)
Hmmm ... I like variety, if I had to pick some high on the list would be ...
John Mayer - Continuum
OAR - Live from Madison Square Garden
My Dave Matthews Pandora station
Jack Johnson - I could really do any of the older albums (in between dreams and back)
Drake would be one of the few rap ones I could listen to on repeat.
Jack Johnson, Jimmy Buffet, and the Beach Boys whould also have to be on my mellow side favorites.
oh ya, and newt...
if you're going to sport some buffett, you better ditch bates and electra and look for more like a lohan.. :D
uh... sure, that's it :)
That is just outrageous! I can't believe any of us would have anything to do with that childish behavior...
Well except Moombadaze, or Berg... maybe Kane... wouldn't put i past wolfeman... no way no how was it me!!! OK once, maybe twice, but thats it... I think...
WAIT IT WAS ED!
Hey, it was funny and got us through the first part of the offseason. But, I admit nothing. (in excellent German accent: "I KNOW NOTHING!")
JUst got back to this thread.
LMAO, just about pissed my pants laughing.
How do Dusty and KG spend a week together with those playslist??
Oh yea, someone thought the Thunder guy that ordered the MOJO was Ed. Ed was before my time, I reckon I am lucky?
nah. good guy, just a little off base and lots of drama.
probably the biggest supporter of moomba ever..
would it be wierd to say that rather than a single album, how about being marooned on said island with BrianBass? at least I'd have a good dj to spin the tunes until the coast guard found me..
Meatloaf by a mile. When Frampton came out it was played over and over and over and if I was on a deserted island I would drown myself rather than be tortured. Gitmo would be a good place for it. If you had a lady friend that happened to be on the same island, you know the professer and ginger combo, then Meatloaf (literally) takes the cake. You can't stop knockin when the meat loaf is a rockin.
The reason the Captain refused to go back was the only ones left on the ship was his in-laws. Excuse me for that tasteless statment and"Lord please forgive me and may God bless the Pygmies in New Guinea"
Which reminds me who would you rather have singing Frampton or a Meat Loaf song on that island, the Cable Guy or Don Rickles.
