Excellent idea. Lots of fun on this clean cool clear river. Shooting for 10 Moombas this year (and Mark's Supra).
Here's a couple pics for those who have not seen our little slice of paradise:

TWO WEEKS AWAY!
Saturday, Sept. 5 is the "official" day of the event. Most of us will be out on Sunday as well.
I'll post more info and some new pictures earlly next week.
Kaneboats,
I believe we are going to attend, you know I have to ask the Mrs. on all travel and money matters first. I guess I need to bring a couple of bigger anchors this time and I haven't yet got to the point where I will beach this boat on the shore yet. Something about "wet sanding" the paint!
We have booked a room at the "Hotel 8", right down from the campground and launch. I have spent enough time in tents in the desert, I don't plan on doing it much more. Plus, we will have our dog and she prefers A/C.
We will get there on Friday and leave Sunday afternoon.
Excellent! What is your dog's name (so I can tell the kids)? Also, I would love for you guys and Mrs Z to give pointers to my oldest who has taken up slalom skiing.
Monty, are you guys coming out?
We'll be there Sat. or Sunday, depends on our family at the lake house.
Maxpower,
Given the work I do in Decatur County, I would steer clear of the Motel 8. I would look at the Charter House or the Jamison Inn. My pick would be the Jamison.
Monty
Thanks, that is the kind of info that I needed. We only found a few Hotels listed for Bainbidge. I will give Jamerson a call.
The dog is Cinnamon.
I doubt that I could advise anyone on skiing, I suck.
We are going to stay at the Dixon Farm! There are plenty of grass strips within a mile or so and the Donalsonville airport is about 3 miles away if anyone is thinking about bringing any special planes with them! Just have to watch out for those crazy crop dusters :D
MrsZ says she will be more than happy to help the young lady in her efforts to perfect her slalom skills.
