Might want to check the 2 little screws that go on the side of the tubes (6th pic down). A few of mine stuck thru enough that it would have scraped the hose going in/out and possible tear it. I took mine out and filed down the point of the screws.
Looks great - good job! I'm right behind you, I plan on installing my hot tubes tonight or tomorrow. Fitting in under the helm was a bit of a challenge and ya it was about two hours to get that sucker mounted. I have to thank Al as well for those great how to photo's to give a guy the courage to do this.
Funny story, I went all over town to try to find a 2 1/4" grommet for the hole in the foot rest that the hoses go through and finally settled on a PVC fitting that I spent an hour grinding down to fit. I went in to work the next day and cleared enough paper off of my desk to realize I had one in my desk that would work...:p
Happy safe boating this weekend everyone! :D
Lowes had them in the nuts and bolts drawers, just screwed the swivel.
Funny about the desk, chop saw works wonders on obv.
One of the wires got pulled on coming out of my heater and I am not sure where it goes and my heater quit working.
I have 3 wires going to the switch: orange, Yellow and Black, but the red is dust dangling from the heater, It has power when the heater switch is on hi or low.
Do you know where I am supposed to hook it back up to??
Thanks
Top is yellow, bottom is orange, the two sides are red
