Bought these for the side of the Supra and want to paint them black. How did the plasti dip hold up? I also have SEM urethane bumper coat paint I could try. Any ideas?

Oh and anyone care to photoshop this for me? Thanks!

I am impressed with it. I applied it in March and have had no issues. When we dry we do 'pat' around the letters as to wiping just to be safe. Would I do it again, Yep..
Pulling around the outside edges is easy, the inner 'A' of the decal that fits on the trailer was a challenge, used toothpick and wifes finger nail stick.
Bro had mine done all summer, no issues, unless it hit the dock or a bumper was running. I did 2 separate touch up and you can't even tell. I'd be happy to come help you. I would do plasti dip over permanent
Thanks guys! I think I can paint them before I install them. Really want to see a photoshop!
Thank you! Thoughts?
I would put the letters on as is. Then if you don't like it, dip'em. I was amazed how easy it was to do on the boat, specially with larger letters.
^ Second this motion. If you had more black and less bling then I'd probably vote to start with black.
Only thing I've plasti-dipped was my old anchor and sand spike. Neither held up well at all!
What if you dip one, put it on with 2-sided tape, leave the other chromed - put it on with a little 2-sided tape. See which you like better before committing? Can always peel the dip if the chrome is better.
Part of me wants to leave it naked.
